Spring has sprung, and with it comes a fresh assortment of new and returning content to watch. These are the 26 most anticipated shows of Spring 2025!
Alas, winter is over, and spring is in the air. But that’s not all, because coming with it is a fresh assortment of new content to watch (score!). The year has already been full of long-awaited series premieres, such as Dexter: Original Sin and Daredevil: Born Again, as well as new releases (The Studio), and fresh seasons (The Last of Us Season 2), and it’s only getting better from here on out. Let’s take a look at the 26 most anticipated shows of spring 2025 in order of release date, as well as what they’re about and where you can watch them!
1. Daredevil: Born Again (March 4)
I don’t know about you guys, but I’ve missed the infamous blind lawyer with superp—pardon me, ehem, “heightened abilities”. A revival and continuation of the earlier series Daredevil (2015-2018), Born Again details Matt Murdock’s (Charlie Cox, of Kin) descent into insanity and destruction at the hands of Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio, of Ratched), who pursues his own political endeavors in New York. It also follows Murdock’s personal struggle to build a new life for himself. When their past identities begin to awaken and emerge, both Daredevil and the Kingpin find themselves on an inevitable collision course that keeps picking up speed. 2. Dark Winds Season 3 (March 9)
Set six months after Season 2’s finale, Dark Winds Season 3 follows Navajo Tribal Police officers Joe Leaphorn (Zahn McClarnon, of Reservation Dogs) and Jim Chee (Kiowa Gordon, of Accused) as they investigate the disappearance of two young boys with almost no evidence to help them. It also follows Bernadette (Jessica Matten, of Frontier) as she attempts to find a place for herself at the Border Patrol Agency but instead, she discovers a conspiracy involving trafficking. Furthermore, the season will continue to explore Leaphorn’s complicated psychological state after his son’s death, especially now after (*spoiler alert*) he indirectly killed Vines (John Diehl, of Snowfall) in Season 2’s finale.

3. The Righteous Gemstones Season 4 (March 9)
The Gemstones are back, baby! You’ll want to tune in for their fourth and final season, which takes us all the way back in time and gives us a look at how the Gemstone ministry came to be, and trust me, it’s now how you’re thinking. Only Danny McBride could’ve conjured up this story. Season 4 also sees Uncle Baby Billy (Walton Goggins, of The White Lotus) write a young adult TV show, BJ (Tim Baltz, of The American Society of Magical Negroes) suffer a hilariously embarrassing accident, and the Gemstone family’s co-dependence tested as they attempt to move forward without letting go of their storied past. There’ll be plenty of jet packs, prayer pods, nakedness, and bickering, and even a wedding. Go figure.

4. The Wheel of Time Season 3 (March 13)
Prime Video’s big fantasy book adaptation is back, and it is full of action and excitement. Adapting one of the strongest books in the series, “The Shadow Rising”, The Wheel of Time Season 3 sees Rand (Josha Stradowski, of Gran Turismo) and his friends once again on the run after he is revealed as The Dragon Reborn. As some move to rally behind him, others work to bring him down. With threats against the Light multiplying, the White Tower stands divided as the Black Ajah has run free and old enemies make their return to Two Rivers. Oh, and brace yourselves for a full-on Aes Sedai civil war as the mages draw their lines for the coming battles.

5. Adolescence (March 13)
A gripping, engrossing cautionary tale, Adolescence boldly explores the confusion of adolescence as well as the effects of bullying, social media, and the mental states people go through after a traumatic event. Stephen Graham, of Peaky Blinders fame, stars in the four-episode miniseries and also co-wrote the script. Adolescence tells the story of how one family’s normal world is turned upside down when their 13-year-old son is accused of and arrested for the murder of a female classmate. Each episode is filmed in real-time one-shot format and focuses on a different aspect of the case: Episode 1 focuses on the arrest, episode 2 on the investigation, episode 3 on the accused, and episode 4 on the family and the fallout.

6. Long Bright River (March 13)
A compelling murder mystery and crime drama, Long Bright River is based on the book of the same name by Liz Moore. It tells the story of two sisters mixed up in Philadelphia’s opioid crisis. Amanda Seyfried, of The Crowded Room, stars as Mickey Fitzpatrick, a patrol cop whose beat is a poverty-stricken neighborhood hit hard by the epidemic. Her sister is a drug addict who soon becomes a missing drug addict. And when a series of murders start occurring, Mickey realizes that her personal history might be related to the case.

7. Dope Thief (March 14)
This chilling crime drama full of high-production value and aerial cinematography follows two life-long friends (and delinquents) as they revel in their life of delinquency… until one day when everything blows up in their faces. While posing as DEA agents, Ray (Brian Tyree Henry, of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire) and Manny (Wagner Moura, of Civil War) rob small-time drug dealers. When they’re lured into fleecing an unknown home in the countryside, they find themselves targets on the run after they accidentally expose and unravel one of the biggest hidden narcotics corridors on the Eastern seaboard.

8. Good American Family (March 19)
THIS limited series has been anticipated since it was announced in 2022, then that anticipation skyrocketed in 2023 with the release of conundrum-identifying documentary The Curious Case of Natalia Grace. Good American Family is inspired by the disturbing stories surrounding the Barnett family, who adopts an eight-year-old girl with a rare form of dwarfism. However, they soon find themselves questioning her true age and identity once they get her home. As they defend their family from the daughter they’ve grown to believe is a threat, Natalia fights her own battles to confront her past and her future in an epic showdown that ultimately plays out in the tabloids and the courtroom.

But when Happy Face (Dennis Quaid, of The Substance) stirs up some case drama, Melissa is the only one he’ll talk to about it, which means that after 15 years, she must come face to face with her murderous, manipulative father to help get an innocent man off death row.

Seth Rogen, of Dumb Money, stars as a Hollywood executive navigating the pitfalls of the movie business in this highly anticipated, critically acclaimed comedy. As the newly appointed head of Continental Studios, Matt Remick (Rogen) is desperate for celebrity attention and approval. He and his executive team at the movie studio must juggle corporate demands with creative ambitions as they try to keep movies alive and at the forefront… relevant. The Studio is shot in long, kinetic takes that follow characters on the move. Without the relief of frequent cuts, this allows us to be sucked into the panic Matt Remick feels in his daily life.

12. Bosch: Legacy (March 27)
I’ll admit, this Titus Welliver-led police drama lasted a lot longer than I anticipated, and it’s just continuously gotten better. Bosch: Legacy returns for its third and final season of burdened LAPD detective Harry Bosch, who left his life in the LAPD behind in the original season to work as a private detective for his former foe, hot-shot detective Honey Chandler. Season 3 sees Maddie asking questions about her father’s checkered past and Bosch on the path of revenge, wanting to exact his own kind of justice on those who kidnapped his kid. Before he gets wrapped up in that, though, he gets wrapped up in a bigger case involving the Mexican drug cartels and must travel across the border on what could be his deadliest mission yet.

13. Mobland (March 30)
If Director Guy Ritchie, of The Gentlemen, and gritty crime series are as much your jam as they are mine, you’re gonna want to settle in for this one. Starring Tom Hardy, of Venom: The Last Dance, Dame Helen Mirren, of 1923, and Pierce Brosnan, of Black Adam, MobLand is crime drama about two warring London crime families, the Harrigans and the Stevensons, who clash in a kill-or-be-killed battle that not only threatens to topple empires but also end lives. Caught in the crosshairs is street-smart “fixer” Harry Da Souza (Hardy), who’s called in by the Harrigans to, well, fix and protect. Initially the series was meant to be an origin story to Ray Donovan but along the way, it was reworked into its own stand-alone story.

14. Pulse (April 3)
Medical shows are on fire right now between The Pitt, Watson, and St. Denis Medical, to name a few, and Netflix is ready to take its stab at the genre. Pulse follows third-year resident Dr. Danny Simms (Willa Fitzgerald, of The Fall of the House of Usher), who is unexpectedly thrust into a promotion when Chief Resident Dr. Xander Phillips (Colin Woodell, of The Continental) is suspended. Did I mention all of this is happening while a major hurricane barrels toward the city of Miami? With the hospital in lockdown, Drs. Simms and Phillips must find a way to work together as challenges emerge and secrets are exposed. Like a good medical drama should, Pulse aims to keep our hearts pounding and our bodies on the edge of our seats.

15. The Bondsman (April 3)
Everybody cut footloose, because Kevin Bacon, of MaXXXine, just keeps cranking out the content. In The Bondsman, he stars as an undead bounty hunter with a thirst for redemption. When Hub Halloran (Bacon) is brutally killed, his shady past lands him right in the sights of hell’s management team, who recruit him to hunt down demons who have escaped and return them to their fiery prison. In return, he’s offered the opportunity to save his own soul. This pushes Hal to seek a second chance at life, love, and country music. Expect to hear some of Bacon’s original tunes throughout the series, as in addition to being a celebrity actor, he’s also an accomplished musician.

16. Dying for Sex (April 4)
An upcoming American comedy-drama miniseries starring Michelle Williams, of the Venom trilogy, Dying for Sex is based on the podcast series of the same name by Nikki Boyer. A true story, after a woman diagnosed with stage four metastatic breast cancer ends her 15-year marriage, she makes and takes the time to explore herself and her sexuality before her death. Her best friend Nikki (Jenny Slate, of Girls) is with her for comfort and support until the very end. This one is sure to be bittersweet.

17. The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 (April 8)

18. Hacks Season 4 (April 10)
The critically acclaimed, very well-received Max comedy series has been revived, y’all, and I couldn’t be more excited for this fourth season. As Deborah Vance (Jean Smart, of Babylon) readies herself to lead her new late-night talk show, tensions rise in the writers’ room after a falling out with Ava (Hannah Einbinder, of Julia), and with the pressure of the chance to make history with this female-hosted late-night show. Can they get their talk show up and running amid all the tension, or will it flop on its face? If you’re familiar with the chemistry between Deborah and Ava, you already know the answer to that.

22. Andor Season 2 (April 22)
Over 12 episodes broken into four chapters, Andor season 2 will wrap up its story by taking viewers all the way up to the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Season 2 continues following Cassian Andor (Diego Luna, of Rogue One) and the early days of the Rebel Alliance. In particular, it looks like these final episodes will include a trip to Ghorman, which is notably the site of a deadly massacre by Imperial forces that incentivizes the rebellion even more. Buckle up for more incredible storytelling full of those heartbreaking moments.

This highly anticipated comedic sci-fi thriller sees Alexander Skarsgård, of Succession, return to the small screen, this time as a grumpy, murderous robot. Murderbot is based on a best-selling, award-winning book series “The Murderbot Diaries”follows a self-hacking security construct (Skarsgård) who is both horrified by human emotion and drawn to its vulnerable clients and the effects they experience. Murderbot finds itself faced with the challenge of hiding its gift of free will while completing a dangerous assignment, despite its desire to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and find its place in this vast universe.
