PASSAGES: WHAT IRA SACHS’ MOVIE IS ABOUT

Directed by Ira Sachs and received very well at Sundance and Berlin this year, Passages is about a film director named Tomas (Franz Rogowski, of Freaks Out) who is in a long-term relationship. One day, after a tough day on the set in Paris, Tomas sleeps with a woman named Agathe (Adèle Exarchopoulos). When he comes home and tells his husband Martin (Ben Whishaw, of This Is Going to Hurt), dynamics change between all three of them, with Tomas going back and forth between the other and affecting everyone’s lives in the process.

Franz Rogowski, Ben Whishaw and Adèle Exarchopoulos shine in a surprisingly hilarious, meaningful exploration of love, relationships, and narcissism that also doesn’t forget about the humanity of it all. Read our full review of the movie Passages.
