Originally a mail-based rental service, Netflix officially entered our world on January 16, 2007. Over the years, it has continued to evolve itself, first by introducing original series and shows and then by acquiring rights to acclaimed movies. In the 2010s, Netflix expanded into many new markets, and eventually started making international productions. Now, the streamer’s films often premiere at famous festivals and go on to become hits.
Netflix has also given us many beloved originals. Think of Stranger Things, Sex Education, Heartstopper, Black Mirror, After Life, The Crown. It has also acquired many award-winning films, from The Power of the Dog and Maestro to Rustin and the Oscar-nominated Nimona. On this page you’ll find all of Loud and Clear’s reviews of Netflix original shows, and movies, and list of films to watch and series to binge.
