During this year’s San Diego Comicon, the very first teaser trailer for Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 was released. Not only do we now have new footage, but the trailer also revealed the release date of the new season and fans will be happy to know that they will not have too long to go back to the world of demigods and prophecies. The Titan’s Curse in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 Trailer
Season 3 will be based on “The Titan’s Curse,” the third book of the Percy Jackson series written by Rick Riordan. It will not be a surprise then to find out that the teaser trailer features the Titan’s Curse itself as viewers can see Percy (Walker Skobell) holding up the entire sky on his back. In Greek mythology, the Titan Atlas is condemned to hold up the sky for eternity after the war fought between the Olympians and the Titans. As it is often the case with Rick Riordan’s retelling of popular myths, the new season is set to borrow one of its most pivotal moments from a well-known mythological character and adapt it to the modern world setting of the show.
Mount Othrys: The Setting in the Trailer of Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3
Similarly to previous seasons, Percy Jackson and the Olympians will introduce audiences to new places, characters, and mythological stories. From the teaser trailer, we can see one of the settings of season 3: Mount Othrys. According to a prophecy narrated in the book, Mount Othrys is the Titan’s domain and currently located in the modern-day Mount Tamalpais, which is where our heroes’ quest will ultimately lead. More specifically, the footage featured in the trailer is set at the peak of Mount Othrys, where Percy ends up holding up the sky.
Other than that, book readers will know that this new season is likely to take us on a journey around the United States, including Arizona and Washington D.C, to name a few locations that the book features. And, of course, part of the story will also inevitably take place in the familiar and beloved Camp Halfblood, as was the case in season 1 and 2 of the show.
The New Characters in Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3
Only one character features in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 teaser trailer: Percy Jackson himself. While no one else appears in the trailer, it has been confirmed that some new faces will appear in the newest season of the Disney+ show, as will some familiar ones. As regards the latter, Grover (Aryan Simhadri), Luke (Charlie Bushell), and Annabeth (Leah Sava Jeffries) will all come back as past of the main cast of season 3. Tara Smart will also reprise her role as Thalia Grace who will be part of the principal cast in the next season.
Newcomers for the latest season of the Disney+ show will include Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie who will play siblings Nico and Bianco di Angelo respectively, as well as Dafne Keen as Artemis and Saara Chaudry as her loyal commander Zoe Nightshade.

While the footage may be short, the teaser trailer brings very good news for fans of the show. At the end of the teaser trailer, it is announced that Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 will premiere on Friday, November 20, 2026 on Disney+, in line with the end of the year release date of previous seasons. Much like before, we can also expect episodes to come out weekly on the platform after the season premiere. The newest Percy Jackson and the Olympians teaser trailer may not have given fans a lot of footage yet, but it did allow us to catch a glimpse of what one of the pivotal moments of the show will look like and we could not be more excited to see where season 3 will take us.
