I am a critic and writer with a background in law. World cinema has a special place in my heart and though I regard the works of such film masters as Tarkovsky, Ozu and Bresson as "sacred canons", I also have an eclectic taste in film, and watch and appreciate different genres, including horror, science fiction, anime and documentaries.
