Are you passionate about movies? Would you like to be a writer for Loud and Clear? You’ve come to the right place. We are currently looking for new contributors to join our team of talented reviewers, and we’d love to read your pitches. Whether you’re interested in becoming one of our regular writers or you’d like to contribute with a one time post, here’s what to do.
What we are looking for:
If you love writing about cinema, we like you very much already! We are looking for creative people with good writing and grammar skills, a strong knowledge of films and/or TV and the ability to write high quality, original content. Have a look at what’s already been published on Loud and Clear: if you think you can produce an engaging review or article that reflects our style, we’d love to hear from you.
What we can give you:
We know what you’re thinking, and the answer is no: unfortunately, we can’t pay our writers yet. But here’s the good news: we can give you access to advance press screenings in several cities (mainly New York, Los Angeles, London, Rome and Milan), we can send you free screeners of films to review and, if you become a regular contributor, we can provide press accreditation to film festivals worldwide. You’ll get credit as the author of your reviews, and they will also be listed on IMDb.
Here’s how to contact us:
- If you’ve written an article or review you’d like us to publish (as long as it hasn’t been published anywhere else), e-mail it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org with a brief description of yourself. If we like it, we’ll publish it.
- If you have an idea for a specific article or review and you’d like to pitch it to us, you can still send it to us at email@example.com. All you need to send us is a brief description of yourself and a short summary of what you’d like to write.
