Austin Butler

Austin Butler – born Austin Robert Butler – was born on August 17, 1991 in Anaheim, California. After various roles in TV shows from an early age – from Hannah Montana (2006-2007) to The Carrie Diaries (2013-2014), he started acting in films. Soon, he landed roles in acclaimed movies, from Jim Jarmusch’s The Dead Don’t Die (where he plays Jack) to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (as Tex Watson).

But it wasn’t until Baz Lurhmann’s Elvis, in 2002, that Austin Butler skyrocketed to fame, playing the titular singer and performer and showing audiences worldwide just how versatile he is. Elvis earned him his first Oscar nomination, for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, and he also won a BAFTA and a People’s Choice Awards for his role in the film.

The actor’s following roles include festival hit The Bikeriders, global sensation Dune Part Two, and successful Apple TV+ series Masters of the Air.
