Brandon Cronenberg

Born January 10, 1980, Brandon Cronenberg is a Canadian filmmaker and screenwriter. While most know him for being the son of director David Cronenberg, he has made a name of himself for making inventive, genre-defying movies that received acclaim at various festivals.

After directing a few short films, Brandon Cronenberg made his feature length debut, sci-fi horror Antiviral (2012). But the real success arrived with his second feature, Possessor (2020), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and went on to win many awards. In 2023, he brought his third movie, Infinity Pool (2023) to Sundance too. Though it divided audiences, it still confirms the filmmaker as one of the most unique voices in horror.
