It’s unfortunately true that my appreciation for film started after I saw Fight Club one day as an adolescent. Since then I’ve gone from reviewing movies for my high school’s weekly news broadcast, to writing for outlets like Austin Chronicle and Paste Magazine, to earning an MA in Film and Media Studies. I’ve covered festivals like SXSW and Fantastic Fest, and have interviewed filmmakers such as James Gray. I’m a big advocate for going to the cinema alone. I still think Fight Club is a good movie.
