Aquaman: trailer sneak peeks, photos and everything we know so far

Aquaman ‘s panel is happening at San Diego International Comic Con tomorrow: here’s what we know about the film so far.
So much is happening at San Diego International Comic Con, but the event so many of us are still waiting for is tomorrow’s 10.30am Warner Bros Theatrical panel. Will we get a sneak peek of “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald”? Will more information be released on “Shazam!”? Will we be able to see “Aquaman” in action? The answer to all of these questions is probably yes, but we’ve got you covered on the latter. Here’s everything Warner Bros has released on Aquaman so far.
1. THE UNEXPECTED TWITTER POST

Director James Wan posted a picture of his “finishing touches” in preparation to Comic Con, and we wish the image on the screen could magically start moving and turn into the whole clip! The picture alone looks epic, so we can’t wait to see what James Wan and his team have prepared for us: click on the image to be redirected to his Twitter account and follow his updates.
2. THE BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS and CONCEPT ART
Warner Bros released three new Behind the Scenes pictures this week, in which we can see more cast members and have a better idea of what the set looked like. The first one is the Concept Art image you can see at the very top of this article, and here are the two remaining photos.

3. THE POSTER and SYNOPSIS
A few days ago, the Warner Bros press release also revealed the poster, synopsis and a few more details on what we can expect from Aquaman. The plot does look intriguing, but… would you look at that stunning poster? We can’t seem to stop noticing new details.

Synopsis (Warner Bros Pictures – Press Release):
From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, “Aquaman,” starring Jason Momoa in the title role.
The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime—one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.
The film also stars Amber Heard (“Justice League,” “Magic Mike XXL”) as Mera, a fierce warrior and Aquaman’s ally throughout his journey; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (“Platoon,” “Spider-Man 2”) as Vulko, council to the Atlantean throne; Patrick Wilson (“The Conjuring” films, “Watchmen”) as Orm/Ocean Master, the present King of Atlantis; Dolph Lundgren (“The Expendables” films) as Nereus, King of the Atlantean tribe Xebel; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Netflix’s “The Get Down”) as the vengeful Black Manta; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours,” “Lion”) as Arthur’s mom, Atlanna; as well as Ludi Lin (“Power Rangers”) as Captain Murk, Atlantean Commando; and Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” “Green Lantern”) as Arthur’s dad, Tom Curry.
